Possible memory leak in scribo :: content_in_doc

Hello there, I was trying Scribo module with multiple pictures, using either cli or viewer version, I admit it generates very good results! However, I'm experiencing a memory leak with a *certain* image. It happens in content_in_doc binary when I run scribo-cli as follows: scribo-cli doc-dia input.png out.xml Strangely enough I found that the command populates out.xml correctly! but it never returns and it keeps on chewing memory VERY fast, like reaching couple GB in few seconds. I tried to disable optional toggles one by one to narrow down the suspect. I found out that the leak doesn't happen if I add the option --disable-find-seps. Please find attached the single image that causes this leak as well as xml output. I'll try to trace it as much as a I can, any clues would be great, though. Best regards, Remon

New warning in G++, and in user code.

Hello, I recently updated my system, and g++ (Debian 4.8.1-10) 4.8.1 came in with. With this new version, I got the following bug resolved: http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=33255 But it causes a lot of warning for my code using milena. API Doc or Code samples

Hi, I really admire Olena framework, specially Scribo module! I've been using Tesseract for a while now, and layout analysis is not it's strongest feature. Using Scribo to anaylze pictures and passing text regions to tesseract makes a lot of sense. I want to get started with using Scribo in my C++ code, however, It would be grateful if their is any kind of API docs to consult or some example programs that uses scribe API. I'd really appreciate any pointers. Keep up the excellent work! Thanks in advance. Remon

'void mln::io::magick::load(mln::Image<I>&, const std::string&)'

I have been trying to make this on FreeBSD 8.2 and 9.1 with no luck. I have tried both IM and GM and I have yet to figure out why I am getting this error when it is correct type. Gxx is 4.2.1 Just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem before...If so is their a patch to get around this?

mln/version.hh now generated in the source tree

Hi everybody, I've recently made some changes regarding Milena's header mln/version.hh [1]. This file is produced from milena/mln/version.hh.in, and was originally generated in the *build tree* by configure. With the recent changes in `master', this file is now generated in the *source tree*, by make. If your Olena build tree is different from your Olena source tree (i.e. if you've invoked configure from a directory other than the one where it resides), you'll have to manually remove the old generated milena/mln/version.hh file from your build tree. E.g. if you previously configured Olena in the following manner: cd ~/src/olena mkdir _build cd _build ../configure you'll need to remove mln/version.hh from the build dir this way: rm ~/src/olena/_build/milena/mln/version.hh If you configured the source tree to be the build tree (i.e. by running `./configure' from the source tree), you don't need to do anything special. rgb8 image in Olena

Hi, I am Paula, image processing student, and I am working with Olena. I have a doubt: I want to create a RGB image and I want to give each pixel a certain color. I do the following: image2d <value::rgb8> imagePrueb(rows,cols); fill(imagePrueb, literal::white); This way, the problem is the whole image has the same color... How can I set the desired color to each pixel? Thank you. Best regards. Paula.
